Nostra Signora del Rosario Church

Facade

The oratory of Nostra Signora del Rosario was most probably built at the beginning of the 600s, when the brotherhood, having the same title, was built. The building’s original establishment is still visible in its gothic-Catalan style facade.

Its present day appearance, on the other hand corresponds to the dictates of baroque of the mid XVIII century. The portico opposite the church and its trussed roof were destroyed by the snowfall of 1956.

The church, richly frescoed, today hosts the “Museo d'Arte e Arredi Sacri” (the Museum of Art and Sacred Furnishings and Fittings).
