This hike is a rather long one, but it is not particularly difficult. The effort made to get to the top will be repaid in full by the splendid view from Genna Eidadi that offers a panorama of the vallata di Magusu (hollow), l’altopiano di Oridda (plateau) and Monte Lisone.

The excursion leads from the Vecchia Dispensa (“Old Pantry”), at 325 metres a.s.l. in the vallata di Villascema, Villascema hollow and proceeds through a dense holly oak woods along path 107 to Genna Farracceus, at 694 metres a.s.l.; once you have passed through the border of the two territories of Villacidro and Gonnosfanadiga you will continue along a dirt road until you reach Genna Eidadi, at 1026 metres a.s.l.. Keep going along the dirt path leading to the peak of Acqua Zinnigas, at 1136 metres a.s.l., characterized by the presence of thyme, strawflowers and heather.
